Machinery DismantlingWhen machinery and industrial equipment reach end of life or are replaced during an upgrade, they represent a significant scrap asset. Scrap India Mart purchases old machinery, production equipment and related industrial items, reviewing each item or lot on site or from photos before valuation.
Old machinery and industrial equipment carry significant metal value, but assessing them accurately needs a site visit — the mix of ferrous, non-ferrous and electrical components varies by machine type and age. We inspect equipment before quoting, and can dismantle larger machines on-site as part of the pickup.
This category covers a wide range — from single machines being decommissioned to a full line being replaced. Only equipment categories we actually purchase are listed here; if you're unsure whether a specific item qualifies, share the details and we'll confirm.
Large or fixed machinery is often impractical to move without dismantling first. Our team can carry out on-site dismantling of decommissioned machines, separating metal, electrical and other components for accurate grading, so you don't need to arrange a separate contractor before scrap pickup can happen.
Organised for large volumes rather than one-off household quantities.
Machinery is assessed for material composition, condition and any recoverable components before a valuation is confirmed, whether it's a single unit or a full production line.
Pricing based on material, grade, quantity and current market conditions.
Pickup timing coordinated around your site's working hours.
A single point of contact from enquiry to clearance.
Retired machinery and industrial equipment are assessed differently from general metal scrap, since the value often includes recoverable metal content plus, in some cases, working or semi-working parts. Motors, pumps, compressors, generators and process equipment are inspected to determine whether they're being purchased for scrap metal value or for resale/refurbishment, which affects pricing.
For larger equipment, we check for oil, coolant or refrigerant that needs to be drained safely before dismantling, and confirm site access for lifting or transport ahead of the pickup date. Equipment removed during a line upgrade or plant shutdown can usually be included in the same visit as other factory scrap.
Share your scrap category, estimated quantity and location by phone, WhatsApp or the enquiry form.
We arrange a convenient time to inspect the material, in person or from the photos you share.
You receive a valuation based on material type, grade, quantity and current market conditions.
Once agreed, pickup and clearance is scheduled at a time that works for your site.
Decommissioned machinery was assessed component by component, which gave a fairer overall valuation.
Handled heavy equipment removal safely, including dismantling old machines on-site.
Good experience clearing outdated industrial equipment that had been idle for years.
Decommissioned machinery is collected from industrial units in Peenya, Jigani, Bommasandra, KIADB Industrial Areas and Harohalli.

Yes, share the scope with us and we'll assess the full requirement together.
We review each enquiry individually — share details of the equipment and we'll confirm whether it fits our purchasing categories.
Yes — equipment is assessed individually, and partly working machinery may be valued higher than scrap-only material.
Basic disconnection and dismantling support is available for larger equipment; electrical disconnection from mains should be arranged by your facility team beforehand.
We can dismantle large or fixed machinery on-site as part of the service, so it doesn't need to be moved beforehand.
Machinery is assessed for its mix of ferrous, non-ferrous and electrical components, which usually gives a different valuation than plain metal scrap of the same weight.
